Financial Assistance
The University offers a wide range of financial assistance to the student. A student guide on financial aids such as loans, grants, federal direct student loans, and work-study can be obtained in the Office of Student Financial Assistance, 103 Horace Mann or by calling (620) 235-4240.
The Pittsburg State University two year Automotive Service Program is considered by many state and federal agencies as Technical or Job Training, therefore, making the student eligible for some assistance that regular degree programs might not be eligible for. Information on these types of programs may also be obtained from the Office of Student Financial Assistance or by contacting the federal or state agencies that deal with Job or Occupational Training Programs.
Scholarships are also available to Automotive Service Program students. The program is affiliated with the Toyota Technology Education Network (T-TEN) and offers many scholarships for the student who qualifies. Housing, tools, travel, tuition, and other scholarships are available from Toyota.
