Master of Science in Educational Technology - Admission Criteria
The Master of Science degree with a major in Educational Technology is designed to prepare curriculum and technology leaders in educational settings. Two areas of specialization are offered within the degree: Technology Integration Specialists and Library Media Specialists. Candidates who select the technology integration emphasis prepare to lead in the design, development and management of instructional materials through the use of educational technologies. Candidates who select the library media emphasis prepare to direct library resource centers in elementary, middle and/or secondary schools. Recommendation for licensure as a school library medial specialist will be expected in the end.
- Submit an application to the Pittsburg State University Graduate School.
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better in undergraduate major. If not, the candidate must maintain a 3.0 grade point average during their first nine hours of graduate course work.
- Provide evidence of completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Provide evidence of a professional teaching license.
