The Master of Arts degree in Communication is designed to prepare graduate students for professional and academic careers. It also encourages thoughtful and continuing study in subjects of the student's interest. Our graduate students are encouraged to work with a variety of faculty, and integrate advanced coursework from outside the department in order to become well-rounded in their studies.
Currently, our graduate students are utilizing the Communication Research Lab to examine a wide range of issues related to human health and the environment. With funding from the PSU Office of Continuing and Graduate Studies five graduate students will be traveling to DC to present their research at the 2017 DCHC Health Communication conference at George Mason University in April.
