Employment Data Report

The Office of Career Services compiles the annual Employment Data Report (EDR) which indicates each graduate’s next step after completing a degree as well as salary information. This information is made available in group data format to the Kansas State Board of Regents and may be viewed here.

Our office requests that faculty and their assistants help us finalize this annual information.

The simplest way to report EDR information is through GUS. You will have access to the students who have graduated from your department. You may view student’s information throughout the year, even if you are not making an entry.

How to enter EDR Information

  1. Login to your GUS menu or click https://go.pittstate.edu/career/edr.
  2. Click on “Career Services”, a link on your left-hand column.
  3. Click on “Employment Data Report”.
  4. Click on “Edit” to input or review information in the student’s profile.

-You do not have to fill in every box.

-There may be a code in the Status column (i.e., FT = employed full-time). See the legend at the top of your screen on that GUS page. If the student has completed their information, it cannot be changed. You can still view the information.

    -No abbreviations please.

-Employment Status is the only required field. You will select from a drop down menu.

  5. Click on “Save Info”, and you are done!

If you prefer to submit your information on paper or via email, feel free to send it to me through campus mail or at mcloning@pittstate.edu.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your valuable assistance in gathering this data each year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at Ext. 4140.
