Posthumous Degree Policy

Applies to: Pittsburg State University students.

Policy:

A deceased student may be considered as a candidate for a posthumous degree when nominated by the Dean of the College in which the student was enrolled. The student must have met the minimum academic degree requirements with a majority of the coursework required for the student's declared major and a GPA which meets the minimum requirement for the major. The Dean's proposal will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Provost and Registrar to determine eligibility.
