Homecoming 2025 will kick off next week at Pittsburg State University. This year's theme: “Gorilla Galaxy.”

The schedule includes:

Monday

Royalty voting will open online at noon for students with Pitt State credentials.

Homecoming Kickoff — an event just for Pitt State students — will run from 5 to 7 p.m. in Gorilla Village; activities include stuff-a-gorilla, rides, games, and fun. Complimentary food will be provided by University Police and Public Safety. Rain site: Plaster Center from 7 to 9 p.m.

Tuesday

A long-held tradition, raft races will be held at 5 p.m. at University Lake, 409 E. Ford, for two-person teams representing student organizations. Everyone is welcome to watch the races, and lawn chairs are encouraged.

Thursday

A three-day International Alumni Homecoming Reunion kicks off with a social hour. It continues on Friday and Saturday with a variety of activities including guided tours of some of the newest campus facilities, meals, and more.
