Brodie Holmes


CPT Holmes was born and raised in Pittsburg, Kansas. He attended St. Mary’s Colgan High School where he played football and baseball. At a young age, he felt a calling to serve in the Army. In 2004, he was awarded a Four Year Army ROTC Scholarship to Pittsburg State University. He was very active in the program all four years and competed for three years on the Ranger Challenge Team. He was also a three year member of the Pittsburg State University Cheer Squad, competing at the Nationals Competition in Orlando, FL. He was assessed within the top 25% of cadets nationwide and in May 2009, was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in Military Intelligence with a branch detail in the Infantry.

CPT Holmes has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, KS, and a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from South University in Savannah, GA. His military education includes the US Army Airborne School, Infantry Basic Officer Leadership Course, Mechanized Leader’s Course, Unit Movement Officer, Unit Safety Officer Course, and the Military Intelligence Captain’s Career Course.


Captain Holmes’ awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal (1OLC), Valorous Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with two campaign stars, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and Parachutist Badge. Meritorious Service Medal (one OLC), Army.

CPT Holmes resides in Pittsburg and has a seven-year old daughter named Presley, who attends St. Mary’s Elementary School in Pittsburg.
