Part-Time Temporary Lecturer, Accounting

Position Description

The Kelce Undergraduate College of Business has two part-time openings to teach Managerial Accounting.


Teach one of two courses (ACCTG 202.02 and 202.03: Managerial Accounting) in Fall 2019. These positions are contingent upon funding.

- ACCTG 202.02 is scheduled to meet from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

- ACCTG 202.03 is scheduled to meet from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of a Master’s Degree in business and/or Accounting is required
  • Applicants must present evidence of at least three years of professional work experience and documented acquisition of professional certifications/licenses (e.g., CPA) and/or relevant honors, awards, or other recognitions

Preferred Qualifications

Engagement in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

  • Private consulting
  • Service on corporate or non-profit boards
  • Production and delivery of professional development programs
  • Economic development activities
  • Invited public speaking
  • Other relevant professional experiences
