Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems

Position Description

The Pittsburg State University Computer Information Systems program seeks a tenure-earning faculty member to begin Fall 2020 at the Assistant Professor level.

Responsibilities

Duties include teaching undergraduate courses with a standard load of three courses per semester, producing intellectual contributions commensurate with expectations of an AACSB-accredited institution, and providing service to the University and profession. Special consideration will be given to candidates in the fields of systems design, web application development, and mobile application development.  Experience with SAP interface programming a plus.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Management Information Systems or closely-related discipline from an accredited university; have a strong commitment to teaching and scholarly activity; and also meet minimum requirements for AACSB faculty qualification. Applicants with ABD status will be considered.  Salary commensurate with qualifications.
