Legacy 1903: a new ticket, retail, and engagement space to open in former bank building

Building on the momentum of a newly announced partnership with Nike, Pitt State Athletics will open the doors soon to Legacy 1903, named for the year of the university’s founding, in the building previously occupied by U.S. Bank at 306 N. Broadway.  

The space will serve as the official retail store of Pitt State Athletics and the exclusive retailer for Nike Pitt State products 

The space will be home to the Pitt State Ticket Office, previously located in the Weede Building, for ticket sales for all Pitt State events, including football and basketball games and events held at the Bicknell Center and McCray Hall.

Legacy 1903 also will include: 

  • • a campus-connected shuttle destination, supported by a dedicated shuttle service from main campus that runs twice every 30 minutes to ensure easy access for students and visitors.

  • • a live ESPN 100.7 radio studio, serving as the broadcast home for coaches’ shows, student-athlete and recruit interviews, and Pitt State Athletics programming.

  • • a centralized hub supporting name/image/likeness (NIL) operations, storytelling, and brand partnerships, helping student-athletes build their personal brands while staying connected to the Pitt State mission.

  • corporate sponsorship and multimedia partnership operations, creating a single, accessible location for businesses, donors, and partners to engage with Pitt State Athletics, explore sponsorship opportunities.

The ticket office will include drive-through and walk-in service for ticket pickup and assistance from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be two entrances: one on the north side and one on the south side. Tickets also will continue to be available by phone at 620-235-4796 and online at pittstate.edu/tickets 

In alignment with Pittsburg State’s commitment to student-athlete success, 100 percent of net profits generated through Legacy 1903 will be reinvested in Pitt State Athletics, supporting student-athletes, coaches, and program development.
