PSU to hold Family Day with activities for everyone

PSU will hold Family Day, a tradition since 1993, on Sept. 17, with a day of activities for Gorillas of all ages culminating in a football game against Northeastern State at Carnie Smith Stadium.

Campus Activities, the Office of Alumni & Constituent Relations, and PSU Athletics will join forces on the day, which will include a president’s lunch, fun and educational experiences for children, a volleyball match in John Lance Arena, and tailgating at Gorilla Village.

Those planning to attend the President’s Lunch and the Family Fun Day event for children should register by 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 16. Families planning to attend also are advised to purchase tickets to the football game soon; they’re going quickly.
