The Presidents Society, founded in 1985 with the creation of the PSU Foundation, recognizes individuals and businesses for providing significant private resources for University needs. To achieve active membership in the Presidents Society, annual gifts must be $5,000 or greater. Lifetime membership in the Presidents Society is given to those who have made cumulative cash or in-kind gifts totaling $25,000 or more. Donors whose cumulative gifts totaled $10,000 or more before July 1, 2005 were grandfathered in prior to the change.

Brandenburg - $1 Million-$999,999,999
University Founder - $500,000-$999,999
University Benefactor - $250,000-$499,999
University Patron - $100,000-$249,999
University Fellow - $50,000-$99,999
University Ambassador - $25,000-$49,999
Heritage Society - Recognizing donors who have made arrangements for an estate gift or other form of planned gift to provide for Pittsburg State University in the future.
The annual Presidents Society Celebration is held every fall to recognize the accomplishments of the previous fiscal year, honor those individuals and businesses who have reached specific lifetime giving levels, and recognize those who have included PSU in their estate plans.
