Shelly Grimes


About

Shelly Grimes, MSEd., is an Assistant Instructional Professor and Fitness/Aquatics Director in the Department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation and has served on the undergraduate faculty since 2010. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from PSU in 1993 and 1995 and is currently pursuing her Educational Doctorate Degree at Lindenwood University.

Ms. Grimes teaches in the area of group fitness, Lifetime Fitness Concepts, water aerobics, athletic conditioning, First Aid/CPR, Zumba, and physical education activity courses. She has done personal training, athletic rehabilitation, taught aerobic fitness classes at all levels for 20 years, and taught public school Physical Education for 10 years. She is an AAHPERD and KAHPERD member.
