It’s our biggest season kick-off celebration yet! Guest Conductor, Mexican-born Gustavo Rivero Weber joins the SEK Symphony on stage for the Opening Night Concert of our 2022/2023 season. The evening will also feature Guest Artist Jens Lindemann, trumpet, and many Latin American musicians who for the 7th season have been visiting the PSU campus to strengthen an ongoing artistic collaboration among institutions. The program includes Dvorak Symphony No.8, A Jazz Concerto for Trumpet & Orchestra by Allan Gilliland, Vivaldi Concerto for two Trumpets, and other works.
