Presenting standard and contemporary works for wind band, the PSU Wind Ensemble will present a free concert at 7 p.m. on Feb. 17 in the Linda & Lee Scott Performance Hall at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts. The concert will be a preview of the ensemble's upcoming performance at the Kansas Music Educators Association In-Service Workshop.
The Wind Ensemble has been invited to perform for the second year in a row at the KMEA event, which will be attended by music educators, performers, and clinicians from all over the state. Since the KMEA performance will be in Wichita, this concert will be an opportunity for the local audience to hear the program. The ensemble, directed by Dr. Andrew Chybowski, will share the stage with the PSU Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Whitten.
