The Indian Student Association at Pittsburg State University will host Diwali - Festival of Lights - on Saturday, October 23. The festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts with performances of traditional and modern Indian dance, music, and fashion. Immediately following, at 6:30 p.m. a catered authentic Indian meal will be served buffet-style in the Plaster Center. The evening will conclude with fireworks at 7:30 p.m. This event is open to the campus community and the public.
Advance tickets can be purchased for $10 in the International Programs and Services Office, 118 Whitesitt Hall, or from any member of the Indian Student Association. Tickets can be purchased for $15 at the Bicknell Center at 5 p.m. on the day of the event. Cash and Cash App accepted.

The meal is catered by Godavari, a popular Kansas City area Indian restaurant featuring south Indian cuisine.
