Pittsburg State’s academic programs are contained within four distinct colleges, each of which offer a variety of hands-on, interactive education opportunities.

College of Arts & Sciences – more than 50 degree programs ranging from English, Math, and History to Biology, Chemistry, and Nursing.

College of Business – accredited by the AACSB, the Kelce College of Business offers degree programs in the areas of accounting, business economics, marketing, and more.

College of Education – award-winning programs in three distinct areas, all of which are aimed at developing the next generation of educators and leaders.

College of Technology – the world-class Kansas Technology Center, features many of the nation’s premier technology programs.

The affordability you need. The flexibility you want! Our flat-rate tuition program allows full-time undergraduate students (enrolled in at least 12 credit hours) and graduate students (enrolled in 9 or more credit hours) to pay single tuition rate regardless of the amount of total credits taken.

Nearly 80 percent of Pitt State students receive some sort of financial aid, including grants, scholarships, employment, and loans.

We have over 150 student-run clubs and organizations, organized around interests that range from Frisbee to music and fishing. Fraternities and sororities enliven campus life and students from 40 countries lend an international atmosphere and bring their culture to campus with celebrations and events.

There's nothing quite like living on campus. You feel the vibrancy of the university, have easy access to all university events, and great food from Gibson Dining Hall. Pitt State is home to the Gorillas (the one and only in the NCAA), and is one of the best NCAA Division II programs in the nation.
