Online EdS Degree in Advanced Studies in Leadership with an Emphasis in General School Administration

Prepare for a leadership role in educational administration with a focus on general school administration. The Specialist in Education Degree with an emphasis in General School Administration prepares students to be superintendents and other central office personnel. Candidates for the degree must hold a master’s degree in an education-related field in addition to the specialist degree requirements. Students specialize in a specific comprehensive knowledge of administration at both elementary and secondary levels through electives and individual study courses. The curriculum meets the endorsement standards for District Superintendent and is fully accredited by the Kansas State Department of Education and CAEP.

Doctorate in Educational Leadership: Continuing Education

Through a Memorandum of Agreement with the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, PSU candidates in the Specialist in Education Degree program may apply for the online Doctorate in Educational Leadership program and apply the PSU EdS coursework toward the terminal degree. Other universities, such as Lindenwood University and St. Louis University, accept the coursework for their Educational Doctorate programs.
