What resources are available in the WAC Center?pencil

The Writing Across the Curriculum Center is located in 310 Grubbs, next door to the office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences. The WAC Center provides free access to a range of books and journals that focus on writing in the disciplines (and writing in general). You can use these materials for general knowledge or for research purposes, especially if you are writing an article on teaching a Writing to Learn class in your discipline. The WAC Center also has extra copies of WL brochures and WAC newsletters. To check out materials, sign the check-out sheet posted on the side of the filing cabinet next to the bookshelf. This is an honor system. If a student of yours wants to read the material, please use your own name and take responsibility for the check-out. Contact the WAC coordinator, Don Judd, at djudd@pittstate.edu (or ext 4697) or the assistant coordinator, Kathy De Grave, at kdegrave@pittstate.edu (or ext 4705) if you wish to talk about WAC issues or need copies of brochures or other materials.
