How can the library help?
Axe Library
The library not only has the books and articles you will need for some of your
writing assignments, it also has the following:
- Quick reference books
- MLA and APA handbooks (and others)
- A wide range of databases for researching a topic
- Newspapers and articles on microfilm and microfiche
- Access to full-text articles on-line
- Links to citation formats
- Government documents
- CDs, videos, music scores
- Opposing viewpoints books for pros and cons on certain issues
- Interlibrary loan so you can get books Axe Library doesn't have
- Reserved books, identified by professors as important
- A computer classroom with a laser printer
Librarians help students research their topics in all disciplines. They can
guide you to the correct databases for sources on your subject and show you how
to use them. For specific ways the library can help with research, go to
