How do I cite sources correctly?
One of the trickiest things to master in writing academic papers is how to cite
your research correctly. Luckily, many universities and other organizations
have come up with quick guidelines to help you. Below are a few links, taken
from the Axe Library
Style Manuals and Guides
page to give you the information
you need.
The following two links will give you everything you need for making correct
citations, both in-text and on the bibliography page. They cover APA, CBE,
MLA, Chicago, and Turabian styles. This is for citation of books, articles,
government documents, and electronic sources.

These links specifically deal with citing electronic sources, using various
styles. Sonoma State is the most comprehensive of these, and gives a helpful
comparison of styles. The Bedford source is perhaps the quickest if you have a
particular electronic source you wish to cite (like e-mail), because it gives
links to specific types of sources for each style.

It is possible to have your bibliography page created automatically by using a
citation generator. If you have a long bib page, it is probably easier to
learn the format and apply it yourself, but if your bib page is short, or if
you have just one or two examples of a particularly daunting source (like
e-mail or CD-ROM), you might want to try one of these.
