Chi Chapter
Chi Chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma has existed
at PSU since 1922 and has a strong tradition of producing leaders.
Sigma Sigma Sigma exists to provide a lifelong sorority experience
for women. They promote a perpetual bond of friendship, develop
strong womanly character, and inspire high standards of ethical
conduct.
Members of Sigma Sigma Sigma can be found all over campus in
leadership roles. The chapter helps instill each woman with
a strong commitment to success.
Tri-Sigma’s National philanthropy is the Robbie Page Memorial
which is foundation that offers fellowships in play therapy
for terminally-ill children at Children’s Medical Center
in Dallas, Texas and at the University of North Carolina’s
Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Each year the chapter
does Rockin’ for Robbie, for 72 hours Sigma Sigma Sigma
members sit in rocking chairs along with a cooperating fraternity,
and rock to raise money for these children.
