Sorority Schedule
August 17th
Move-In
Women participating in Sorority Recruitment will be allowed to move
into their residence hall room at 2pm. Recruitment Staff members
will be on hand to assist with move-ins.
Parent’s Orientation
During this session, parents will be provided information regarding
all facts of sorority life an will be able to get all their questions
answered by the PSU Greek Advisor and members of the Recruitment
Staff.
August 18th
Recruitment Orientation
Recruitment guest will be informed about the upcoming week activities,
will get acquainted with other guests and will be assigned to their
Recruitment Counselors.
House Tours Day
Recruitment Guests will travel to each Sorority’s Chapter
House and will be introduced to Sorority Life and all that it can
offer. Dress is casual with cool, comfortable clothes and comfortable
walking shoes.
August 19th
Sisterhood Day
Recruitment Guests will travel to each Sorority’s Chapter
House and will be introduced to each Sorority and its activities
and standards. Dress is casual with cool, comfortable clothes and
comfortable walking shoes.
August 20th
Philanthropy Day
Recruitment Guests will be introduced to the value of community
service and the important role it plays within each chapter. Guests
will participate in a community service project with the chapters.
Dress for this evening is still comfortable, but slightly dressier.
A nice skirt, capri pants or sun dress are recommended.
August 21st
Preference Day
This night is the most sentimental of all the evenings. During
this night, Recruitment Guests may participate in a sisterhood
ceremony and may hear guest’s speakers talk about the sisterhood
within their chapters. Dress for this evening is the most formal.
A nice dress or pant outfit is recommended.
August 22nd
Bid Day
Recruitment Guests will find out which chapter they have been invited
to join. Although morning activities are casual, chapters have a
formal association ceremony later in the day, and all chapters recommended
a nice white dress for the occasion.

Fraternity Schedule
Tuesday, September 4th
Informational Session
During the informational session details of the upcoming week of
recruitment activities will be given as well as information on how
Greek Life can and does benefit university students. Each organization
will also have a table set up to provide those interested with more
details about what their organization stands for.
Wednesday, September 5th
House Tours Round 1
Those participating will be split into small groups and be guided
to three fraternity houses to learn more about them.
Thursday, September 6th
House Tours Round 2
Those participating will be split into small groups and be guided
to the other three fraternity houses to learn more about them.
Friday, September 7th
Invitational Night
This night chapters will have formal events for which invitations
will be issued to those they wish to get to know better. The format
of the night is open and those receiving invitations may choose
to spend time at one or several chapters for as long as they wish.
Each invitation will include details regarding appropriate attire,
times, and locations
Saturday, September 8th
Bid Day
This is the day that Recruitment Guest will find out which chapter
they have been invited to join. Some chapters may not actually issue
bids on this day as it is not in their process, but they will extend
invitations to continue with their recruitment process.
*Fraternities may extend bids at any time, however we encourage
you all to go through the entire recruitment process before making
your decision.
** The Fraternity Recruitment Process has been approved as an Extra
Credit opportunity for all Freshmen Experience Classes.
