There are different steps you must take
depending on whether your card has been misplaced or permanently
lost/stolen.
Misplaced Card
You need to determine if you have misplaced your card, by
leaving it at home over the weekend, think you know where
it might be, etc. If your card has been misplaced, you need
to come to the Gorilla Card Office in the Overman Student
Center and have a hold placed on your Gorilla Card. A hold
status will block any PSU transactions from occurring, including
Banana Bucks transactions at the bookstore, Axe Library,
food service locations and laundry facilities, as well as
the ability to access Gibson Dining Hall and obtain tickets
to University events. We also recommend that you contact
Commerce Bank at 1-800-617-7480 to prevent unauthorized
use of your card.
When your card is found, you must bring
it to the Gorilla Card Office so the Hold status can be
removed. If your card is not found, you will have to purchase
a replacement card for $10.00.
Permanently Lost or Stolen Card
If your card has been permanently lost (you have no idea
what happened to it) or stolen, you need to report it as
soon as possible to the Gorilla Card Office during regular
business hours or contact University Police if the Gorilla
Card office is closed. The Gorilla Card Office staff will
mark your card as lost. Although the Gorilla Card Office
will report a permanently lost card to Commerce Bank, you
should also inform Commerce Bank as soon as possible to
prevent unauthorized use of your card.
At your earliest convenience, you need to
come to the Gorilla Card Office and purchase a replacement
card for $10.00. You will not have access to your Banana
Bucks account, meal plan, or University event tickets until
you replace your ID card.
