Technology and Workforce Learning
The Department of Technology and Workforce Learning includes several undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Programs of study include two-year associate and certificate programs as well as several undergraduate degree programs in Workforce Development, Vocational Teacher Education, Technology and Engineering Education, and Wood Product Manufacturing. Graduate programs in Career and Technical Education, Technology, and Human Resource Development are also available. In addition, one post-graduate program in Workforce Development and Education (Ed.S) is also available.
- career and technical teachers at the baccalaureate and graduate levels through the delivery of responsive, cost-effective, high-quality pre-service and in-service technical teacher education programs that address individual career development needs, state teacher certification, and program requirements.

- industrial technologists—including supervisors, lead people, managers, and other professionals with necessary technical, managerial and customer relations knowledge, technical skills for industry, business, government and public organizations.
- residential, commercial, and industrial electrical technicians and electricians for business and industry.
- technical and instructional support to programs in the college as well as local businesses and industries.
- technologically literate students at PSU through general education courses in technology.
- curriculum research, design, evaluation and other consultative services to the Kansas State Board of Education and educational constituencies of Kansas and the Nation.
