Undergraduate Minor
The Department of Technology Management offers a comprehensive sequence of courses leading to a minor in Industrial Safety. The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is a moving force in ensuring safety conditions and considerations for the work environment. Such legislation has increased the need for management and supervisory personnel throughout the workforce to have the safety preparation to fill positions in industry. Ten and thirty-hour OSHA voluntary compliance cards are awarded to students who qualify.
The minor requires satisfactory completion of 21 semester hours of college work.
