The curriculum is designed to take advantage of the student's preparation and work experience in business and industry and other public and private organizations. Technology management options provide a completion degree for community college and technical college transfer students. Pittsburg State University is the only public university in Kansas that offers these programs.
Some classes are provided in a mediated or internet format to reduce travel for off-campus students as well as reduce time conflicts for students who are employed or have other responsibilities.
