Pittsburg State observes winter break
Winter break has commenced at Pittsburg State University and as the campus quietly marks the end of 2007, one can’t help but look at the year’s successes. With 2007 marking record-breaking enrollment and donations to the university, the PSU community is thankful for another great year and ready to welcome the next.
Offices at PSU will be open this week until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21. The university will be closed for winter break from Monday, Dec. 24, through Tuesday, Jan. 1. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
Students who have not pre-enrolled for the spring 2008 semester can take part in the scheduled enrollment day beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16. Students can also enroll by contacting their academic department for an appointment. Undeclared students can enroll now through the Admissions Office by calling 620-235-4251. New freshman (just out of high school) must attend the CARES orientation session on Jan. 16 prior to enrolling.
Classes begin Thursday, Jan. 17.
The Gorilla Bookstore will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 21, and will reopen during those hours beginning Jan. 2. On the week of Jan. 14-18, the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
