The Academic Affairs Department is responsible for the promotion of activities that stimulate scholastic achievement, intellectual curiosity and the attainment of knowledge.  It is the goal of this department to improve academic standards and teaching methods for the benefit of the Pittsburg State University student body.  Endeavors of the department include, but are not limited to, the administration of Mid-Semester Evaluations, the investigation of violations of the Dead Week policy, the selection of Outstanding Faculty for Apple Day, and the maintenance of the PSUConnect book-trade web site.  The Academic Affairs Department is also responsible for responding to any student questions or concerns that are scholastic in nature.
