(2008) Fiscal Year End Information

The Purchasing Office has established the dates by which FY08 Departmental Purchase Requisitions must be submitted in order to be charged against funds available from the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008. In order to comply with the State of Kansas schedules, all DPR's must conform to the following schedule:

General Purchases

• Under $2000 - chargeable to FY08 must be submitted no later than noon on June 27, 2008.
  
  
• Bids between $2000 and $25,000 - chargeable to FY08 must be submitted by June 1, 2008.
  
  
• Bids over $25,000 - chargeable to FY08 must be submitted by May 1, 2008.
  
  
• All hard copy DPR's sent to the Purchasing Office the last week of June and the first week of July should be clearly marked "FY08" or "FY09" respectively, directly under the DPR number. If you, as the buyer, are responsible for shipping and handling on your order, please verify the amount of these charges and add it to your DPR.

Contractural and Lease Agreements (over $2,000.00)

• New agreements chargeable to FY08 must be submitted by April 14, 2008. (If competitive bids are required, immediate submission is required.)
  
  
• New agreements chargeable to FY09 and with a beginning date of July 1, 2008, should be submitted approximately mid June, 2008. We will make every effort to process the agreements for encumbering and release immediately after July 1.

December 5, 2007 - Office Supplies Contract Award

Corporate Express (current vendor) has been awarded the Office Supplies contract (#10583) effective January 1, 2008.
