With state and federal budgets for public broadcasting shrinking, KRPS 89.9 FM at Pittsburg State University needs public support more now than ever.

KRPS Public Radio, 89.9 FM, will kick off the holiday season with the second annual "Music, Memories and More: A KRPS Old-Fashioned Christmas Radio Special" from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22. The special will take listeners on a trip through time to when radio was the primary source of entertainment for the family.
