Football fans unable to attend Saturday’s big quarterfinal playoff game between PSU and Northwest Missouri can still keep up with the action on the Internet. The NCAA announced this week that it will provide free Web streams for all four Division II quarterfinal football playoff games Saturday.
Pitt State (10-1) and NW Missouri State (11-2) will meet for the second time this season at 1 p.m. Saturday. On Oct. 1, the Gorillas overcame a 28-6 halftime deficit in the matchup at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, winning 38-35 and ending Northwest’s 49-game conference regular season winning streak.
Earlier this week, the PSU Ticket Office said the last reserved seat tickets were going quickly. After those are gone, all tickets will be standing room only. The Ticket Office is open today until 4 p.m. All tickets at the stadium on Saturday will be $12.
In other national quarterfinal action to be streamed on the Web Saturday, undefeated Winston-Salem State (12-0) will host New Haven (11-1) in the Super Regional One at 11 a.m. (CST) at Winston-Salem, N.C., Saturday, and defending national champion Minnesota Duluth (11-2) will host Wayne (Mich.) State (10-3) at 12 Noon (CST) in the Super Region Three final at Duluth, Minn.
