International Education Week features Tastes and Sounds of Nations

Nearly 500 international students from 40 countries are attending Pittsburg State University this year, reflecting continued global interest in Pittsburg State University. To honor these students and their cultures, PSU will celebrate International Education Week, featuring a wide range of activities to be held Nov. 17-21.
The Tastes and Sounds of Nations will cap off the week at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in McCray Hall. The event brings students from all over the world together for a free night of dancing, music performances and ethnic foods.
Following is a list of the week's events:
Monday, Nov. 17:
* Table displays in Overman Student Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
*Cultural performances in the U-Club from noon to 1 p.m.
* Paraguayan food at Gorilla Crossing
Tuesday, Nov. 18:
*Cultural performances in the U-Club from noon to 1 p.m.
* Indian food at Gorilla Crossing
Wednesday, Nov. 19:
*Cultural performances in the U-Club from noon to 1 p.m.
* Saudi food at Gorilla Crossing
Thursday, Nov. 20:
*Cultural performances in the U-Club from noon to 1 p.m.
* Malaysian food at Gorilla Crossing
Friday, Nov. 21:
*Cultural performances in the U-Club from noon to 1 p.m.
* Russian food at Gorilla Crossing
* Tastes and Sounds of Nations from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCray Hall
