Safe Spring Break week features free activities

With PSU's Spring Break just days away, a number of activities are being offered to students this week reminding them to stay safe.
Sponsored by Gorillas in Your Midst, Campus Activities, Student Activities Council, PSU ROTC, Student Prevention and Wellness, and the Substance Abuse Focus Group, the free activities range from bowling to movies to free food. In addition to the activities listed below, a Safe Spring Break information table will be set up from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day at the Student Center.

Mon., March 8:
Noon - Safe Spring Break kits will be distributed on the Oval.
7 p.m. - Army ROTC Self Defense Training at the Student Rec Center. Also at 7, Movie Treat Night with Safe Spring Break information will be held at the U-Club.
Tues., March 9:
12:30 p.m. - Safe Spring kits distributed on the Oval.
7-9 p.m. - Bowling and pizza, free with PSU ID at Holiday Lanes. Evening includes contests, games, and "Road Trip to a Safe Spring Break" information.
Wed., March 10:
Noon - Safe Spring Break kits distributed on the Oval.
3:30-4:30 p.m. - Sidewalk Chalk contest on the Oval. Gift certificate prizes will be awarded to individuals and organizations. Sign-up begins at 2:45 p.m. on the Oval.
Thurs., March 11:
12:30-2:30 p.m. - Safe Spring Break kits distributed on the Oval.
