Etiquette dinner offers lessons in business-friendly manners

September 21, 2009 12:00AM

Realizing the importance of polite business behavior in everything from table manners to shaking hands with a professional acquaintance, the Offices of Alumni & Constituent Relations and Career Services at Pittsburg State University are presenting the annual Student Etiquette Dinner Sept. 21.

The event, a formal dinner that gives students of all levels the opportunity to learn about proper etiquette during dinner interactions, will be held at 6 p.m. in the lower level of the Wilkinson Alumni Center.

Dr. Peggy Snyder, dean of the College of Continuing and Graduate Studies, will be presenting the dinner, which includes lessons on everything from using the proper utensils to making appropriate dinner conversation.
