President presents budget forums

President Steve Scott presented two campus budget forums July 24 in which he examined Pittsburg State University's budget issues and actions the university has taken in response to those problems. The forums, which were offered twice that day, took place in the Governor's Room of the Overman Student Center.
Scott said that in addition to sharing details about budget concerns and answering questions from faculty and staff, he also wanted to enlist their help in dealing with the "unprecedented" challenges the university faces.
The president wrote that he expects to use similar formats to communicate with the campus community after school starts in August. Following is a link to the presentation:
