Welcome to the new faculty/staff newsletter
For quite a few years, the Office of Public Relations has published a newsletter for faculty and staff called Insight. Insight was published about nine times a year. The newsletter made the transition to the Web a couple of years ago and last year, it became a biweekly blog. This year the evolution continues. The newsletter, re-titled "Pitt State Today," will arrive in your in-box each Tuesday morning during the academic year. Until we are able to send an html version to you directly, you will receive a link to the week's news and information.
We hope you will find Pitt State Today useful and informative. We also hope you will send us your news and tell us what you would like to see covered in the newsletter. A printed companion piece covering faculty research, meetings, service and other activities will be produced later in the semester.
We hope that a weekly newsletter of this type will help make a dent in the number of bulk e-mails we all get. Instead of sending a bulk e-mail reminder about your event, we hope you will consider using "Pitt State Today."
Have a great fall semester!
