Message Village / Bulletin Hut

Message Village / Bulletin Hut is designed to post announcements, activity and event information, for sale, wanted, and various other kinds of messages to the PSU community through the GUS system.

Some of the features of the system include:

1. The ability for anyone with a GUS login to post to the Bulletin Hut.
2. The ability for individuals to set preferences for the types of notices they wish to receive by subscribing and/or unsubscribing to the various categories.
3. The ability for the individuals to choose the method that they would like to receive the information, via the Message Village/Bulletin Hut, by email, or both.

The system is designed to allow for a more targeted audience for messages and the elimination of some of the email slowdowns that have occurred recently due to the volume of Mr. BulkE messages being sent.

All users are auto-subscribed to receive messages and emails from various categories. If you wish to fine-tune your Message Village subscription, please go to the Message Village link in the right hand column of your GUS menu, and then click on Subscriptions in the left column. To fine tune your email subscriptions, go to the Message Village link in the right hand column of your GUS men, and then click on Email in the left column.
