Writing to Learn Future
We will continue to support writing, the teaching of writing, and the use of writing to teach course content, wherever it occurs.
This involves:
- Continue in providing an array of Writing classes that will provide students:
- More experience with academic writing
- Opportunities to continue developing higher order thinking skills
- Exposure to a variety of writing styles, a variety of theoretical perspectives, and a variety of discipline-specific ways of thinking about the world.
- Assistance to instructors in helping them further develop their Writing to Learn course content.
- Promoting more communication between Writing to Learn instructors.
- A great percentage of this will involve further development of website content.
