Are you frustrated by students' lack of engagement with reading assignments?  Do your students seem to miss the points you want them to get out of the reading?  Do classes that are supposed to be discussions of the reading assignment turn into lectures because students either didn't do the reading or didn't understand it? 

If so, please join us for Dr. June Taylor's workshop, "Interactive Reading in the College Classroom."  The workshop will introduce and demonstrate classroom strategies for teaching students to work effectively with challenging texts, and Dr. Taylor will be available immediately after the workshop to answer individual questions about helping students meet the challenges posed by specific assignments.
