Visiting scholar Dr. Martha Townsend (University of Missouri-Columbia) is offering two workshops at PSU on April 6, 2009:  Teaching for Critical Thinking and Assignment Design.  Dr. Townsend is leading scholar in the fields of Writing Across the Curriculum and Writing in the Disciplines, and under her leadership, the writing program at UM-C won the highly coveted CCCC's Writing Program Certificate of Excellence.

Participants may register for one session or both.  Lunch is included.
