The CTLT is pleased to announce the availability of Camtasia Relay for faculty use. This screen capture tool makes it very easy for you to capture your computer's desktop, add voice narration as well as video from a webcam. Camtasia Relay can be used on any faculty computer or in a classroom. There are also free apps for iOS and Android that will allowyou to capture video from your mobile device and upload it to be processed and shared with your students.
Camtasia Relay also has free apps for both iOS and Android devices. This app activates your device's camera so you can capture learning moments on the go and submit to the Relay server.
To begin using this new tool, whether on your computer or the app, sign up for an Introduction to Camtasia Relay workshop in the CTLT or contact Susan Dellasega at x4270.
Spring 2014 workshop dates will be announced soon.
In this workshop, we will showcase Camtasia Relay, a computer screen recording solution that allows you to easily record and share presentations, lectures, meetings and mobile video with your students.
This tool is now available to all faculty at Pittsburg State through the Center for Teaching, Learning & Technology. To learn more about how you can use this tool and obtain access, please register for this workshop.
This workshop is for faculty who already have a Camtasia Relay account. We will review how to use the closed-captioning tool, the "Guest Presenter" account, and we will review using a YouTube account for a publishing destination.
