PSU Faculty-Led Group Programs
Each year Pittsburg State offers several group study abroad options. These are programs that are led by PSU faculty. Each program has at least 3 credit hours of PSU credit that are part of the program. The programs vary in length from 1 week to as long as 2 months. Most programs are between 2 and 4 weeks. The programs take place during vacation periods like winter, spring and summer vacation.
PSU Exchanges and Affiliate Programs
There are several different options for PSU students to study abroad independently. These are opportunities for students to spend a summer, semester or year studying abroad.
Individual study abroad options that are set up directly through PSU include exchange programs, and summer exchanges. Affiliate programs administered by trust-worthy study abroad organizations are offered to countries like Great Britain, Italy and Australia, where PSU has no exchange agreements.
Other Study Abroad Programs
Some students' needs are not met by the programs offered by PSU. These students then look outside of PSU to other programs to find a study abroad program.
