Description:

Join Dr. Grant D. Moss, Assistant Professor of Spanish in the Department
of Modern Languages and Literature, for an unforgettable Pitt State
University study abroad experience in Alicante, Spain. Alicante is the
pearl of La Costa Blanca located on the southeastern Mediterranean coast.
This unique location combines the charm of a big city with the comfort and
flair of a seaside town. Alicante's diverse culture, history, architecture,
and climate intoxicate anyone who walks its streets.

During the 2013 Alicante program you will hone your Spanish skills as you
study Spanish language, culture and/or literature at La Universidad de
Alicante, an international leader in information technology and
digitalization of literary documents. You will also live and dine daily
with a host family in the Alicante area; your adopted family will remain
with you in your heart when you leave. Your cultural experiences (including
a city tour, a bullfight, and travel to nearby Granada) will increase
your international awareness. The positive interactions that you attain
through the Alicante program will give you a bilingual edge in the
increasingly competitive job market.
