Description:

Participants will spend three weeks in Asuncion, Paraguay. In Asuncion, participants attend lectures by qualified faculty at Paraguayan universities and by Paraguayan scholars on history, culture, politics, economics, and other aspects of the target countries. The lectures are given in English. There will be a side trip to the Iguazu Falls on the Brazil-Argentina border and an optional side trip to the Chaco, Paraguay's arid western region. They will spend the last four days in Buenos Aires, Argentina, sightseeing and visiting sites of historical and political interest.
