  • The GRAD FINALE is an opportunity for you to handle many of your graduation needs and provide you with answers to any of your graduation questions and concerns.

The following is a list of areas that will be represented:

  • Degree Checking
  • Graduate and Continuing Studies

  • Jostens (for announcements and class rings)
  • Gorilla Bookstore - Students who have paid graduation fees will be listed on the gown distribution list

  • Alumni and Constituent Relations - Out Of the Jungle - First Floor, Alumni Center


  • DEGREE CHECKING--Verify that your name is on the tentative December Undergraduate graduation list. Please pay your Graduation Fee BEFORE the Grad Finale event. This will ensure that your name will be on the Bookstore Distribution List for your Cap/Gown/Tassel.
  • GRADUATE AND CONTINUING STUDIES--Graduate students please petition for graduation before Grad Finale. This must be done before picking up the cap and gown at this event. Undergraduate students who are interested in graduate studies at PSU may visit with a representative about applying for graduate school.
  • FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE-Any student graduating who received any STUDENT LOANS while attending PSU is required to complete the on-line Exit Counseling Session at You will also be able to do your Exit Interviews for both the NURSING LOAN and PERKINS LOAN online with Educational Computer Systems, Inc. (ECSI), after November 15, 2017. Please visit their site at for more detail.

    All of your prior outstanding loan debit is available for you to review at the National Student Loan Data System Student Access site: If you have any additional questions, please contact Financial Assistance at 620-235-4240. We will be on site during Grad Finale to answer any questions you may have regarding how to begin the repayment process.

    Please note** There will be holds placed on your academic transcript until any required EXIT COUNSELING SESSION(S) is/are finalized.
  • CAREER SERVICES- Career Services will be collecting employment and graduate school data.

    *Please take 3 minutes to visit with our staff or complete employment data online through your GUS at if you have accepted a job offer or have been accepted to graduate school.*

    If not, let us know how we can assist you with your search! Graduates get a year of Gorillas4Hire FREE! Your data will be confidential and will go into a collective database (you will never be singled out) to help counsel future PSU students.
  • JOSTENS--Representatives will be available to help with ordering announcements and rings. Additional information may be seen at
  • GORILLA BOOKSTORE--Pick up the cap and gown for Commencement.  Receive a 25 percent discount coupon that may be used while purchasing PSU items or other gift ideas available at the Bookstore!
  • HERFF JONES - FRAMING SUCCESS - Enter the drawing to win a FREE diploma frame. We can help you choose a frame to celebrate your success.

  • PSU ALUMNI AND CONSTITUENT RELATIONS--Stop by our booth for information on all our events, services and programs offered to you as you become alumni.  We have many different ways for you to remain connected even after you graduate.  At our booth we will tell you about our "Out of the Jungle" event offered specifically to graduates. This event will include free food, prize drawings, and gifts for each graduate. Register at our booth or online at  Remember: "Once a Gorilla...Always a Gorilla."

Please NOTE: Seniors can have their graduation and Kanza yearbook portraits taken from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, September 26, 27, and 28th at the Crossroads (lobby area) of the Overman Student Center.
