Schedule of Fees - Summer 2009
FEE STATEMENTS will not be mailed unless requested by the student. Students may view their summer tuition immediately upon enrollment through their GUS account by clicking on the Student Accounts link. This page is printable to allow for mailing in your payment, or you may pay online. Fees are due by 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9th, 2009. For courses starting prior to June 8th, payment is due by the first day of class. *This fee includes Incidental, Student Health Center, Student Activity, and Student Center. These fees apply to all summer courses for university credit. Fees subject to change.
**A Distance Fee of $18.00 applies only to classes held an extended distance from campus. This fee compensates for additional travel costs associated with the delivery of instruction. A media fee of $14.00 per credit hour is added to all on-line courses and courses on the interactive distance learning network.
TECHNOLOGY COURSE FEE
A course fee of $14.00 per credit hour in addition to the above listed tuition fee, will be charged for all courses taught through the College of Technology. The general education course GT 190 Introduction to Technological Systems, 2 hours, is excluded from the fee assessment. A maximum cap of $140.00 per student/per semester will be collected for the technology course fee.
Gorilla Advantage
Students from bordering counties of Missouri and Oklahoma may qualify for Gorilla Advantage tuition rate which is tuition equal to in-state fees. For more information click on the following link about Gorilla Advantage.
Refund Policy
For those students who find it necessary to withdraw from the university after having completed enrollment, the following policy will apply:
A student who withdraws from the university or a class on or before Tuesday, June 9th (First Four Week Session), Tuesday, July 7th (Second Four Week Session) or Tuesday, June 9th (Eight Week Session) will be refunded full fees on request
A student who withdraws from the university or a class on or before Monday, June 15th (First Four Week Session), Monday, July 13th (Second Four Week Session) or Monday, June 22nd (Eight Week Session) will be refunded one-half of the per credit hour fee on request.
A student who withdraws from the university or a class after Tuesday, June 16th (First Four Week Session), Tuesday, July 14th (Second Four Week Session) or Tuesday, June 23rd (Eight Week Session) will not be refunded any fees.
Students who withdraw from a course shorter than four weeks will be refunded full fees if they withdraw prior to the second class meeting. One-half fees will be refunded to students withdrawing during the first one-third of a short course.
Students may expect a delay of at least three weeks between the time they file for a refund and the receipt of the refund.
A $30.00 charge is made for all insufficient fund checks.
