28. Event: The Multi-cultural Cinderella will be held at the Pittsburg Public Library and will include "Jazz Age Cinderella" performed by Dr. Susan Knell and "Russian Cinderella" performed by Yulia Senkiv--this year's Fulbright Scholar. - April 12, 2014

39. Event: Cinco de Mayo Festival. This event hosted in The Oval was in celebration of the Mexican holiday Cinco de Mayo. There will be food, drinks, lots of prizes, and DJ Darrell Chrism! - May 2, 2014

30. Event: Kristin Humphey helped organize the Strut Your Stuff walk, this is a walk around campus that raises awareness and discourages victim blaming for sexual violent crimes. It is meant to send a message that men and women can dress however they like, speak any way they like, and act any way they like without the fear of being attacked or assaulted. 52. Event: Presentation of the film, The Cherokee Word for Water, an award-winning film inspired by the true story of the Bell Waterline Project. It tells the story of a rural Cherokee community's struggle against long odds to bring running water to their families by using the traditional concept of "gadugi," or working together to solve a problem. - November 2016

Event: Planned is a reading and discussion group for Native American Heritage Month based on selections from an anthology of writings by contemporary indigenous women, called Every Day is a Good Day. The group will meet once a week in November and members will volunteer to participate in a panel discussion following the screening for the film, The Cherokee Word for Water. - November 2016

Event: From the Streets to the Stage. A product of a one night stand, abused in foster home after foster home, and raised sleeping in parks were just a few of the daunting obstacles in Monti’s journey from the streets to the stage. Event: Planned is a showing of the film, Girl Rising, which tells the stories of nine girls from different parts of the world who face arranged marriages, child slavery, and other heartbreaking injustices. Despite these obstacles, the brave girls offer hope and inspiration. By getting an education, they're able to break barriers and create change. - March 2017
