Each year, the PSU Chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi awards scholarships to students who will be in the PSU Graduate Program the following fall semester. Current Phi Kappa Phi members and those students joining Phi Kappa Phi during the spring semester will be eligible to apply for the Phi Kappa Phi, Chapter 213 Scholarship. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled as a Graduate Student and actively pursuing a degree for the upcoming Fall Semester at Pittsburg State University.
Applications will be available in the PSU President's Office, 207 Russ Hall, at the beginning of each spring semester. The deadline for application submission is from early to mid March. Chapter 213 will award the scholarships during the annual initiation ceremony in April.
Phi Kappa Phi sets high standards for its award recipients. Selection committees comprised of representatives from each of the Society's five regions carefully review all applications. Applicants are evaluated based on numerous factors, including academic recognition and awards, campus and community involvement, leadership experiences, and quality and scope of proposed program.
