The History of the Kansas and Paraguay Partnership
The Kansas Paraguay Partnership (KPP) was created in 1968, along with its Paraguayan counterpart, the Comité Paraguay Kansas (CPK). Pittsburg State University has received numerous students from Paraguay over the years. In recent years, groups of PSU students have traveled to Paraguay for study abroad experiences. The history of cooperation between the Republic of Paraguay and the State of Kansas fostered by the CPK and KPP make the expansion of cooperative programs between PSU and Paraguay an attractive opportunity for students and faculty.
